Menu Plan Monday: 4.30.12

I love Menu Plan Monday. It really helps keep me on track. It’s actually how I plan my grocery trip. In fact, I’m about to run to the grocery now! lol

Here’s what we’re eating this week:

Breakfast

Sunday/Monday: Random

Tuesday/Wednesday: Crepes with fresh fruit

Thursday/Friday: Toast with peanut butter, fresh fruit, and chocolate almond milk

Sabbath: Vegan waffles with fresh fruit and maple syrup

Lunch

Sunday: Eat out

Monday: Veggie Stir-Fry Noodles

Tuesday/Wednesday: Mandu (Korean Dumplings) & Sesame Kale Salad

Thursday/Friday: Broccoli Tofu Stir-Fry & My Secret Surprise Sushi (I’ll be sharing this delectable recipe with you next week!)

Sabbath: Roti & Curry

I’m on a roll guys! I tried two new recipes last week, and I have another two on the menu for this week. Trying new recipes is so exciting. It’s a way to explore other cultures and introduce your taste buds to new friends. Who doesn’t need new friends? ;)

  1. I try to menu plan but I cook according to what I feel like eating so it’s virtually impossible to think that far ahead. Your menu sounds lovely! Yum to the roti and curry, that’s one of my favorite meals.

    • I understand what you mean. Even with a “plan” I usually switch meals around. It’s great for planning my shopping list and sticking to budget though.

  2. Glad the mandu came together! Can’t wait to see the recipe. Menu planning is smart. It helps you cut down on food costs, sort out a prep list to save time on your busy days and stay on track healthwise. Very smart!

    • Precisely! Thanks for inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone and dare to try more world cuisines. Will try to get the recipe up. :)

  3. I love planning the week menu! It is easier and cheaper to shop! Thanks for visiting my blog!
