I went to church last week and God had a message just for me. Have you ever experienced that? The pastor’s sermon spoke straight to me. The main point of the message was “stand still and see the salvation of the LORD.” (2 Chronicles 20:17) I don’t know about you, but so many times I forget where my help truly comes from. I run around in a tizzy trying to solve my problems, but to no avail.
The message was a timely reminder that:
- God is on my side.
- He has a plan for my life.
- He has the solutions to my problems.
My job is to:
- Give it all to Him.
- Wait on the Lord (wait with an eager hope in what He will do).
- Move according to His direction.
It really was a breath of fresh air to be reminded that I have no need to fear, because my God is fighting for me. *sigh of relief*
